Athletes 4 Life is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2018 to offer retiring thoroughbred racehorses a safe and peaceful environment to begin the transition into permanent loving homes and second careers. 

The thoroughbred is a fast, intelligent, and undoubtedly beautiful horse. They have a strong desire to please, to compete, and to win, but most of all they have immense heart. Even though their racing career may be over at the very young age of three or four (when other riding horses are just beginning), it does not mean they are done. It is because of these incredible qualities that these beautiful animals are able to be so successful at transitioning into a new life full of love, determination and peace, and Athletes 4 Life is intent on making sure these horses are given the opportunity to share their heart and excel in a life beyond the tracks.

Through rehabilitation, placement in qualified homes, and continuing education Athletes 4 Life is able to provide the safety and security needed to allow these horses the opportunity to successfully transition to new levels.
